The Grey Rubber Tyre is a softer wheel compared to hard tread wheels like nylon and the rubber absorbs vibrations whilst in motion making this a low noise option and will not mark or scratch the floor. The roller bearing lowers the rolling resistance to reduce the effort required to move the castors. The shock absorbing function of this castor means that the overall height can vary by 20mm. The casters height without load is 160mm and this reduces incrementally by up to 20mm as load increases (see image 2 - GDS100 Curve) and fully compressed with a load of 75kg. Furthermore, the castor's offset will also vary from 45mm (at its full height of 160mm) to 53mm as the load increases.
