The Polyurethane tyre offers a low tractive resistance making it easier to get moving compared with softer rubber tread wheels. It is also a bit softer than hard tread wheels making the castor smoother and quieter running. The polyurethane tyre is also non-marking and gentle on floors while the ball bearing lowers the rolling resistance to reduce the effort required to move the castors. Put this wheel into a strong bracket that has a double ball race in the swivel head and you have a castor that is a great choice for the wide range of industrial and domestic applications.</p>
