400mm Black Pneumatic Rubber Tyre / Red Polypropylene Centre Wheel (4.8/4.00-8). This size wheel is often referred to as a 16″ or 16 Inch Wheel. It has a 4 Ply rating tyre with Rib tread with a 63mm Hub Length and 25mm Roller Bearing. Load Capacity = 150kg.
Pneumatic Wheels are rubber tyres that are inflated with air. They are used in either a castor frame or mobile handling equipment such as garden trolleys, carts, sack trucks and other transport equipment. Being a very soft tyre they exceptionally kind on floors and provide great operator comfort. Pneumatic castor wheels have a bit of bounce which lowers the rolling resistance on uneven surfaces. Therefore, they protect the transportation unit from much of the impact loads from bad floors.
