Footmaster AGV/AMR Castors are a range of castors specifically designed for the rigours of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR).These castor ranges are made to solve specific problems. These include, excessive swing, large turning circles and loss of contact with the floor. Each of these are... detrimental to the the performance of AGV and AMR equipment.
Manually propelled transport equipment such as trolleys and carts operate intermittently and usually at walking pace. AGV and AMR equipment can often run continuously 24/7 and at faster speeds. Because of the extra work the castors have to do, standard castors are not up to the job.
Footmaster AGV/AMR castors are designed specifically for the demands of AGV/AMR equipment will decrease costs and increase productivity by reducing the downtime caused by castor failure.

There are two wheels fitted into the frame, each having a tread width of 23mm.The Polyurethane tyre has a shore hardness of 95 Shore A and offers a low tractive resistance making it easier to get moving compared with softer rubber tread wheels. It is also a softer than hard tread wheels making the castor smoother and quieter running. The polyurethane tyre is also non-marking and gentle on floors while the ball bearing offer the lowest rolling resistance to reduce the effort required to move the castors.
